Not the type to be picky with colors but orange has been my least favorite. However, tangerine tango can mysteriously grab my attention. Not quite orange, not quite red. Tangerine Tango boasts an orange with a lot of depth to it. It has a mix of exotic, energetic, warmth, and friendliness, the reddish orange provides an attention grabbing hue. Expect to see the vivid shade popping up in fashion, cosmetics, and home decor.
Marika Vera worked with nothing but the best quality and fabric in the world, naming it “Better than Naked”. Seductive quality of being barely there makes these pieces more sensual than literally being bare.
A little info on Marika Vera: She discovered fashion at Swimburne University in Melbourne Australia for a summer course Management Degree. Later she moved to London to pursue a design degree at Istituto Marangoni. While she went to school, she worked with handbags and accessories with Pauric Sweeney and womens wear designer Giles Deacon and swimwear brand Bijoux Beach.
In 2008 her lingerie graduation Collection got her a design contract for French fashion house Vanessa Bruno in Paris.
In 2009 her swimwear Collection was showcased in Cannes as one of the finalists for the Mare di Moda – THE LINK Awards.
The same year she worked for the brand Yes Master Lingerie in London. Two years later Marika launched her own exquisite lingerie line.
Now, Marika Vera designs nothing but elegant and modern wear for women of today, a more natural approach to sensuality. Her collection is only designed with the best quality fabrics and trimmings. Following delicate and minimalistic lines, she of course goes with out compromising the erotic elements of the garments. These images are from her previous SS 2012 collection. Enjoy.
